Las Posadas is Mexican tradition where families and communities participate in a Christmas procession that re-creates the pilgrimage done by Joseph and Mary on their way to Bethlehem. During the procession, community members, usually children, dress up as Joseph and Mary and they recreate the walk that Joseph and Mary made. This Christmas season, don’t miss out on this annual event with the Sutter Creek community.
