Lake Amador is a 400 acre lake which offers a large fishing dock and a newly renovated dual lane boat launch to make things easier for guests. There is also a campground onsite which offers flush toilets, hot showers and even a hookup RV park. At this lake, you’ll find a large abundance of trout and other fish such as catfish, bluegill, carp, bream, catfish, shad minnows and largemouth bass. In fact, there are more pounds of trout per acre of water here than any other lake in California!

Lake Camanche Resort is another area that offers lake access and excellent camping sites. Whether you want to do tent camping or bring an RV, there are campsites that are available year round. Since the resort consists of hundreds of acres, you also won’t experience crowded areas. Lake Camanche is also known for their bass fishing so if this is what you’re looking for, then Lake Camanche is the place to be. Other water activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding and boating are also available at this lake. You can also rent kayaks and paddleboards at the lake.

Pardee Lake Recreation offers 141 oak lined campsites that include toilets, running water, picnic tables and a fire ring. At Pardee Lake, families can enjoy a number of outdoor activities. For example, here you’ll find fishing, swimming opportunities, boating and more. Some of the fish you’ll find here include rainbow trout, kokanee, brown trout, black bass, catfish, sunfish and more.
