Savor the Fun and Festivities at the 17th Annual Winefest!

The Amador County Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce the 17th annual Winefest in Sutter Creek. This year, the Winefest will take place on Saturday, November 8, so be sure to come down for a stroll along historic Main Street, where you can taste from a vast selection of special Amador County Wines. If you love wine and looking for fun things to do in Sutter Creek, this is certainly the event for you!

Starting at 4pm, all registered guests can go to the Sutter Creek Auditorium, where you can pick up your very own Winefest wine glass, a map of all the wine tasting spots and a wristband. While at the Auditorium, you can peruse the items at the silent auction. The categories include art, travel packages, wine and a table of exclusive premier gifts. You can bid at the auction and there will be a smattering of hors d’oeuvres available. From 4:30pm – 7:00pm, the wine tasting will begin! Walk along 3 blocks of the historic Main Street and take in its charm. During your walk, you will be able to visit 25 shops, all of which will offer wine tasting from the Amador County Winery.

Once the wine tasting ends at 7pm, it doesn’t mean that the fun is over! At 7pm, you can return to the Sutter Creek Auditorium for the Winefest Grand Finale. Here, you can hear live music from the talented guitarists, Hal Gamble and Duncan Herring. The silent auction will have its final bidding opportunity, there will be desserts and wines served, along with the popular Mystery Wine-in-a-Bag Auction. This Winefest event will end at around 8:30pm. Tickets are now on sale. Advanced tickets for the Winefest is $25 and tickets purchased the day of at the Auditorium will cost $30. These tickets can be purchased starting at 4pm.
