As we say goodbye to February, it means that spring is just around the corner and one of the best things about spring in Amador County is the coming of the dandelions! Starting in mid March until mid April, Amador County will be overflowing with beautiful dandelions as their presence marks the beginning of spring. Now is the time to get ready for Dandelion Days in Amador County. If you are wondering when to visit Daffodil Hill here is all the information you need.

Daffodil Hill in Amador County is one of the best places that you can see these beautiful flowers bloom. Daffodil Hill is a family-owned ranch owned by the McLaughlin family since 1887. When in full bloom, there are approximately 300,000 flowers that decorate the hills on the ranch, which make for a truly beautiful experience. Inclement weather may cause less flowers to bloom than normal so it is recommended that you call in advance to see the status of the flowers. It is also recommended that you call on the day that you plan to visit to make sure that Daffodil Hill is open. Daffodil Hill is located at 18310 Rams Horn Grade, Volcano, CA. A part of Dandelion Days is the annual Dandelion Days Celebration held on Main Street in historic Downtown Jackson. This family-oriented celebration is a fun all day event that includes a flea market filled with vendors selling arts and crafts, collectibles, relics, antiques and more. There will also be street entertainers and delicious food! The event is always held on the Saturday and Sunday of the 3rd weekend in March. If you are in Amador County during this time, be sure not to miss out on Dandelion Days and seeing Spring in full bloom at Daffodil Hill.

Starting in mid-March and up until mid-April, Amador County will be overflowing with beautiful dandelions as their presence marks the beginning of spring.
