Jackson City hosts a number of fun and exciting annual events in downtown Jackson, which you can enjoy when you stay at Jackson California hotels. Every year, these events allow the community to gather and enjoy the various events with friends and family. Events take place throughout the year and celebrate all the seasons from flowers in the spring time to scarecrows during the fall. One annual event is the Veteran’s Day Parade that takes place November 11th at 10am. Locals and visitors are always welcomed to attend!

Every year the Veteran’s Day Parade takes place on November 11th at 10am. The parade takes place in the heart of Downtown Jackson as it proceeds down Main Street. Join the rest of the Jackson community as locals and visitors alike gather along the sidewalks and outside store fronts located on Main Street. Feel free to gather a little early so you can enjoy the perfect spot to view the parade and support the veterans during the parade. The parade honors the American Legion Amador Post 108. During the parade there will also be classic cars driving down Main Street as the veterans are honored and celebrated.

Jackson city always holds a number of annual events along Main Street. In addition to the annual Veteran’s Day parade, other annual events include the Scarecrows on Main Street event, where wacky and silly scarecrows are on display up and down Main Street throughout October, as well as the Halloween Parade where kids parade down Main Street every October 31st. There is also the Farmers Market which takes place every Sunday starting June 11th that continues until September 24th. The Farmer’s Market takes place at the parking lot of the El Dorado Bank located at 135 Main St. This is a perfect way to enjoy fresh produce from Amador County as well as to support local vendors.
