25th Annual Sierra Showcase of Wine - May 5, 2007
Amador County Fairgrounds, Plymouth, 2:30 - 4:30 pm, to benefit Hospice of Amador. Features over 40 Sierra wineries, a silent auction, local artists and great music. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at the door.

The Great Sutter Creek Duck Race - April 28, 2007
The Great Sutter Creek Duck Race was founded and is organized and presented by the Men's Club of Immaculate Conception Church in Sutter Creek. The Men's Club is comprised of men from both the parish and larger community. The Men's Club is well known for The Great Sutter Creek Duck Race, and for the pancake breakfasts, specialty bingos, rummage sales, dinners, dances and other fun fund-raisers they conduct. The proceeds from these events go to local charities, scholarship funds, parish improvements and a host of other needs.
